fitted for a 4in. barrelled revolver (some partitions loose), lined in blue baize, with cartridge tray and glass oil bottle, the lid with P. Webley & Son trade label (oil stained, small hole) showing exhibition medals for 1872, 1873, 1876 and 1880, the exterior (water stained, base chipped) with circular brass escutcheon (key escutcheon missing).
