with heavy octagonal twist barrel with full length wide raised rib graduated from '1' to '20' and signed 'PRYSE & REDMAN. 130 PICCADILLY. LONDON', blade fore-sight, rear-sight of one standing and four folding leaves, border and scroll engraved recessed breech, tang and lock, the last signed 'PRYSE & REDMAN', figured walnut half-stock (cracked through with insert repair at the wrist), chequered grip, iron mounts including border and scroll engraved pistolgrip trigger-guard (patchbox possibly a later addition), silver escutcheon, horn fore-end cap, sling eyes, and later ramrod (some discolouration to iron parts), London proof marks.
