* A FINE RUSSIAN SILVER-MOUNTED SWORD-STICK,
silver maker's mark of Stepan Levin, with 19 3/4in. blued blade with fullered stem of flattened square section with a slightly swelled square section tip, silver handle with applied silver monogram bordered above and below by a decorative band of flower-heads, the pommel formed hollow with a hinged cap decorated with an applied spray of oak leaves and acorns, the blade housed in the blackened wooden stem of the stick with silver locket and tip (small pressure dent to the pommel), Moscow city mark and 84 zolotniki silver grade mark.
Other Notes: Stepan Levin is recorded in Moscow between 1875-1897.
