A 5.5mm (PINFIRE) EIGHT-SHOT PEPPERBOX REVOLVER,
with 1 3/4in. blued fluted barrel-block engraved with foliage at the muzzles and around the pin-recesses, blued border engraved frame signed 'GEO. H. DAW' and 'LONDON' (mechanism at fault), blued folding trigger, chequered walnut grips, the grip-strap engraved 'SAML. STONE ESQ.', and screw-fit cartridge extractor rod in the butt, reblued throughout, Birmingham proof marks.
