mid-19th century, with 30 3/4in. steel bow with string of twisted cord, the bow with iron mounting and foot-stirrup (incomplete), walnut tiller stock with characteristic stand, ivory nut, brass bolt-channel, pierced shaped side-plates and scrolled trigger-guard, set triggers, and iron aperture rear-sight, with bulbous iron-tipped bolt (missing fletchings).
