with 14in. waved gilt blade formed as two entwined serpents bordered with fine scrollwork, gilt collar, figured flat-sided grip carved with scrollwork on the inner edge, large carved sarongan (one tip chipped), the body of the scabbard encased in brass, that on the front pierced with foliage against a burgundy velvet background (velvet worn).
