* A PATTERN 1822 INFANTRY OFFICER'S SWORD,
circa 1835, with 32 1/2in. pipe-back single-edged slightly curved blade double-edged towards the point and etched on each side with 'WR IV' cypher (some discolouration), brass gothic hilt retaining some original gilding and with folding flap and pierced 'WR IV' cypher, wire-bound shagreen-covered grip, in original gilt-brass mounted black leather scabbard (leather weak), two suspension rings.
