* A TURKISH YATAGHAN,
early 19th century, with 24 1/4in. single-edged blade of characteristic form (patches of corrosion, tip chipped) incised with a panel of foliate decoration on each side, that on the left side bearing an inscription and stamped with a makers mark, the hilt of neilloed silver decorated with scrollwork and foliage (some damage, small panel missing), green stained horn grip-scales inset with dark horn and brass roundels (some loss), in black leather-covered scabbard.
