A PAIR OF CONTINENTAL 56-BORE FLINTLOCK BOXLOCK POCKET PISTOLS,
early 19th century, with 4cm. turn-off barrels, actions each engraved with borderlines and martial trophies, folding triggers, sliding thumb-piece safety-catches each also locking the steel, and flat-sided walnut butts (one cracked) each with chequered spine and raised oval on each side, decorated with silver wire inlay involving stars, dots and sunbursts (iron parts discoloured).
