A VERY RARE .22 (LR) 'COURIER' SIX-SHOT DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, serial no. 69259 LW for 1954,
3in. barrel, alloy frame, chequered walnut grips with 'COLT' medallion, and retaining much original blued finish, in original factory carton (some wear to carton).
Other Notes: Certificate in lieu of proof marks.
The Courier was manufactured between 1953 and 1956 with only approximately 3,000 units being produced in this time. Based upon on the Cobra frame design they were available in .22, .32 S&W and .32 NP. Advertised for only two years they were superseded by the Agent model revolver.
