A VERY RARE .38 (SPECIAL) 'VIPER' SIX-SHOT DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, serial no. 98456 M for 1977,
4in. barrel, alloy frame, blued hammer with bright sides, blued trigger, chequered walnut grips, in as new condition, in original factory carton.
Other Notes: Certificate in lieu of proof marks.
1977 was the sole year of production for the Viper model of revolver and subsequently it saw only very limited production. The model was resurrected by Colt in the early 1990s for a small production run.
