Herr Bittner commissioned this suite from Alvin White over a period of time and each pistol and revolver is engraved with the initials 'BB' for Bernd Bittner. Herr Bittner commissioned this suite of arms to represent the principle styles of Colt engraving whilst demonstrating White's skill and understanding of his art as the premier Colt engraver of his time.
