71.5cm. blued octagonal barrel (actual rifled section 20cm.) with matt sighting flat, bead fore-sight with protectors, case-hardened action signed 'LUCA' on the left side (action not locking correctly), the upper tang fitted with a case-hardened aperture rear-sight, set triggers, 13in. stock of characteristic form with prominent sculptured raised cheek-piece and carved in low relief with oak leaves and acorns on the right side, chequered grip, case-hardened hooked butt-plate and scrolled trigger-guard, and sling mounts (older refinish throughout, butt with repaired crack).
