mid-19th century, with 3 1/2in. octagonal white metal sighted barrel, iron frame with white metal bolsters, folding trigger, two folding blades respectively measuring 3 1/2in. and 2 1/2in. and each marked 'NON*XLL UNWIN & RODGERS PATENT', polished light horn grip-scales (one chipped), hinged trap-cover, white metal bullet mould (tweezers missing, iron parts with some surface corrosion), Birmingham proof marks.
