A PAIR OF FRENCH 20-BORE PERCUSSION OFFICER'S PISTOLS SIGNED BIRINGER,
circa 1835, with 8 5/8in. swamped twist sighted barrels, border engraved tangs each incorporating a rear-sight, border engraved flat locks with feint signatures, figured walnut half-stocks each with chequered butt (minor chips and cracks), engraved iron mounts, iron ramrod (one ramrod missing, iron parts with some wear and surface pitting throughout), St. Etienne proof.
