A PAIR OF 25-BORE PERCUSSION TRAVELLING PISTOLS SIGNED WILSON, LONDON,
circa 1840, with 4 3/4in. browned twist sighted barrels each signed 'WILSON LONDON' towards the breech, border and scroll engraved breeches, scroll engraved tangs each incorporating a rear-sight, border and scroll engraved bolted locks each signed 'WILSON' and retaining traces of original faded case-hardening, figured walnut three-quarter stocks each with chequered butt (both rubbed opposite the locks), iron mounts including scroll engraved trigger-guards each retaining traces of original blued finish, iron stirrup ramrods (some areas of surface corrosion throughout).
