A PAIR OF BOHEMIAN 54-BORE PERCUSSION TARGET PISTOLS,
circa 1840, with 7 1/4in. swamped twist sighted barrels each rifled with four grooves and signed 'G. SCHLENKER IN GORLITZ' in silver and with a silver inlaid band at the breech (some loss to one barrel), scroll engraved breeches, border and scroll engraved tangs each incorporating an adjustable rear-sight, border and scroll engraved island locks each with stepped tail (both hammers replaced), figured walnut half-stocks (minor cracks and blemishes) each with fluted butt, set triggers (one mechanism defective), and scroll engraved iron mounts including spurred trigger-guards (some surface corrosion throughout).
