A 22-BORE BRASS-BARRELLED FLINTLOCK PISTOL SIGNED ARCHER,
late 18th century, with 8 3/4in. swamped two-stage barrel with turned girdle and octagonal breech-section, flat bevelled border engraved lock signed 'ARCHER' and with roller (top jaw and screw replaced), walnut full stock (some bruising, fore-end repaired), brass mounts including trigger-guard with pineapple finial, later horn-tipped ramrod, Tower private proof marks.
