30 1/2in. nitro reproved damascus barrels (shortened), broad rib engraved 'PATENT SOLID STEEL THROUGH LUMP', and 'CHARLES BOSWELL. MAKER. EDMONTON. LONDON. N.', 2 7/8in. chambers, true cyl. in both, large treble-grip action incorporating C.G. Bonehill patent 'CAM TREBLE SAFETY BOLT', patent no. 3178 of 1877, carved percussion fences, broad strikers, rebounding sidelocks (some exterior pits to edges), border and scroll engraving, the underside with a running hare, brushed and reblued finish overall, 14 1/2in. well-figured pistolgrip stock with spearpoint drop points, horn pistolgrip-cap and buttplate, fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release catch, weight 9lb. 10oz.
