SMITH, PRINCES STREET, LONDON' on the rib, case-hardened breeches with platinum plugs (replacement nipples), scroll and fern engraved tang and lockplates of semi-banana form, the latter signed 'WILLIAM SMITH, PRINCES STRT., LONDON', the hammers of hare's ear form decorated en-suite, highly figured bird's-eye maple half-stock with cheek-piece and broad chequered grip, engraved iron mounts including spurred butt-plate (some wear to engraving), plain silver escutcheon to rear of tang, replacement ramrod, London proof marks.
