28in. replacement nitro barrels, the rib engraved 'NEW BARRELS BY MORTIMER & SON. EDINBURGH', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action incorporating Ross patent ejector mechanism, patent no. 19395, usage number 406, automatic safety, border and partial scroll engraving, brushed bright finish, 14 3/4in. well-figured stock with chequered side-panels, including 5/8in. ebonite extension, weight 6lb. 10oz., in its brass-cornered oak and leather case with some accessories.
The vendor has kindly confirmed that this gun was completed on the 7th October 1896 for a Geo. Harrison Law as a best quality Anson & Deeley ejector with 30in. damascus barrels.
