circa 1820, with 28 3/4in re-browned rifled sighted barrel of later date, sliding locking ring operating on spurs attached to action, semi-rainproof pan, roller frizzen and gold lined vent, scroll engraving and makers signature to top of action, further scrolls and scull and cross-bones motif to tang, naive tiger in jungle setting to l/h side, wild boar to trigger guard, figured re-chequered walnut stock (possible replacement) with long-eared heel plate, provision for sling.
