A PAIR OF 18-BORE PERCUSSION OFFICER'S PISTOLS SIGNED J.C. REILLY, LONDON,
circa 1840, with 8in. octagonal sighted barrels each signed 'J.C. REILLY LONDON' on the top flat, border and scroll engraved breeches, tangs and back-action locks (both hammer spurs broken off), walnut three-quarter stocks each with chequered butt, border and scroll engraved trigger-guards, white metal escutcheons and barrel-bolt escutcheons, and iron stirrup ramrods (iron parts heavily discoloured throughout).
