also of Lang & Hussey Ltd., and dated from 16th April 1894 to 16th June 1898, canvas and leather bound with oil-paper frontispiece and endispiece, some occasional foxing and rubbing but good and un-faded for the most part.
Literature: The vendor has kindly supplied the following information:
"This exclusive primary source contains the hand-written minutes of board meetings after James Lang, the eldest son of Joseph Lang and Eliza Purdey, sold his business in 1893. The new owners of James Lang & Co. appointed Henry Joseph Hussey as sales manager. Subsequently, H.J. Hussey became a director of the company and in 1895 the company's name changed to Lang & Hussey Ltd. On 1st June 1898, with Henry Webley as chairman, the resolution was passed to amalgamate the business with that of Joseph Lang & Sons of 10 Pall Mall. Both Henry and Thomes William Webley became shareholders of the new company, their father, Philip, had died in 1888."
