LONDON. S.W. ENGLAND' and in script 'THE PREMIERE GUN', wall thicknesses just below recommended minimum, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke;
new 28in. replacement nitro barrels (in 1990) engraved to match original barrels, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke;
each set of barrels with individual fore-end; treble-grip action with side-clips, automatic safety, patent gas checks, fully engraved with fine border and acanthus scroll engraving, surrounding vignettes of snipe, North American prairie chickens, and geese, the underside with a brace of duck, brushed bright and reblued finish overall, 14 3/4in. well-figured replacement stock with diamond grip, weight 6lb. 4oz. (original) and 6lb. 11oz. (new), in a brass-cornered oak and leather case
