24in. replacement nitro chopperlump barrels (by the makers in 1974), with acanthus scroll engraved sight-rib, with '.458' calibre designation gold-inlaid at the breech end, open sights with folding leaf sights for 150, 200 and 300 yards, block-mounted bead foresight with flip-up moonsight and scroll engraved fold-over protector, sunken rib gold-inlaid 'WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO.' and engraved 'ENGLAND.', treble-grip action incorporating J. Deeley and L.B. Taylor patent hand-detachable locks, patent no. 17731 of 28th July 1897, use number 2450, hinged floorplate, striker discs, bolted automatic safety with gold inlaid 'SAFE' and 'BOLTED' details, Westley Richards patent toplever, fully engraved with fine acanthus scrollwork, the floorplate with a prowling tiger in a jungle setting, retaining virtually full renewed colour-hardening and finish, 15in. boldly-figured replacement pistolgrip stock with chequered side-panels, sculpted cheekpiece forming a high comb, sling swivels, scroll-engraved pistolgrip-cap (with trap), and including 1in dark wood extension and 7/8in. rubber recoil pad, fore-end with matching replacement wood with horn finial, Deeley & Edge patent release lever, weight 11lb. 3oz., in its brass-cornered leather case
