mid 20th century, with 10in clip point blade, false edged for 41/2in at point, the ricasso stamped 'IXL', the blade etched in gold with various patriotic slogans and stamped with 'G WOSTENHOLM & SON WASHINGTON WORKS' and 'THE HUNTERS COMPANION', scalloped back, nickel-silver scalloped cross-guard and cutlery style horn? hilt (no scabbard).
