early 19th century, with 11in two-stage etched damascus barrels silver inlayed with foliate panels and banding, indistinct makers? cartouche inlayed near breech ends, silver-capped muzzles with 'heart-shaped' reliefs and further scrolls, locks with semi-rainproof pans and vacant ovals for makers stamp (removed), walnut full stocks decorated en-suite in silver with loose scrolls, vine leaves and geometric shapes, spurred white-metal butt-caps, white-metal trigger-guards with stylised 'pineapple' finials, detachable silver tipped rammers, (both pistols broken through and repaired at wrist, minor losses, wear and corrosion throughout), TOGETHER WITH a period double chest-slung embossed leather holster with straps (worn, repairs and losses)
