the interior with blue baize to lid carrying a Stephen Grant trade label, six oak divided compartments (dividers and lifters extant), central brass lock with key, patinated exterior impressed 'T.R. Clutterbuck, Coldstream Guards' with good quality replacement straps and handle bolsters.
Provenance: Thomas Rupert Clutterbuck of Micklefield Hall, Hertfordshire was born in May 1884. He was schooled at Harrow and Oxford before joining the 4th Coldstream Guards where he attained the rank of Captain.
