'THE REWARD' , AN ORIGINAL OIL ON CANVAS,
approx. 30in. x 26in. including gilt double-mounted frame, depicting a black labrador retrieving a rabbit amongst its naturalistic habitat, signed by the artist and dated to 2007.
Provenance: Michael Tandy was born 1942 in Worcester and has been a professional artist and sculpture at the head of his field for thirty five years.
He attended Worcester School of Art studying sculpture, life painting and colour tones of the impressionist, and in 1982 was elected as an Associate of the Royal Society of British Sculptors. His works are considered to be of the finest quality and form part of several important collections globally; including those at Buckingham Palace and Highgrove House.
