circa 1860, with 7 1/2" blued, sighted barrel signed on two lines 'E.WHITNEY, N. HAVEN', case-hardened rammer, blued frame and cylinder, rolled scene to cylinder featuring an eagle, shield and naval engagement, brass small trigger-guard, wood grips (some loss of finish to frame and grip-straps, remainder extremely fine)
