A SCARCE NICKEL-PLATED 'HIGHEST POSSIBLE' .177 AIR PISTOL, serial no. 931
circa 1912, second model, 12in overall with 9 1/2in rifled barrel, chequered hard-rubber grips, air cylinder stamped 'WESTLEY RICHARDS "HIGHEST POSSIBLE" AIR PISTOL' on three lines, frame with patent number and date, also marked 'WESTLEY RICHARDS & COY, LONDON W' on two lines, the whole retaining the majority of its original nickel plating (pin missing from trigger guard, action at fault).
