circa 1790, with unsighted two-stage slightly swamped barrel stamped with an illegible three-line makers cartouche, military pattern lock-plate with replaceable pan, large ring to top of cock screw, brass side-plate stamped '0 N 38' and two screws possibly for a belt-hook (missing), walnut full-stock with fancy brass coat-of-arms escutcheon (worn), long-spurred brass butt-cap with slot for lanyard ring (missing), brass barrel band, muzzle-cap and trigger-guard, replacement rammer (light pitting to iron parts, fore-stock and butt cracked through and repaired, brass-work heavily polished)
