A 22-BORE BOXLOCK TURN-OFF CANNON-BARRELLED FLINTLOCK PISTOL,
circa 1780, with 5in round three stage barrel, breech-block with inlet frizzen spring, side panels engraved with flags and martial trophies, central hammer (top jaw replaced), slab sided walnut butt with silver wire scroll and trophy inlays (minor losses, tang screw replaced), trigger-guard with possible oval coat of arms (pitted), London proofs, iron surfaces discoloured throughout.
