A 14-BORE FLINTLOCK VOLUNTEER SERVICE PISTOL,
circa 1800, with 9in round slightly tapered barrel marked 'LONDON', London proofs, flat border-lined lock signed 'NOCK', walnut full-stock (cracked and repaired through side-nail, inlet repair behind lock-plate), bag-shaped grip with flatterned sides, brass furniture, 'S'-shaped side-plate engraved with the no. 47, steel replacement rammer, (the whole brushed bright and cleaned)
