A SCARCE REGULATION .650 VOLUNTEER 'PAGET' CAVALRY FLINTLOCK CARBINE,
circa 1810, with round 19 1/2in sighted barrel stamped 'MB 39' and Birmingham proofs, the flat regulation lock with a 'Georgian' crown and 'ALLPORT' on the tail, elongated 'U' bar on the l/h side with twin saddle-rings, walnut full-stock with brass furniture, captive swivel steel ramrod, (crack at wrist expertly repaired, iron surfaces darkly patinated).
