AN 11mm PERCUSSION SINGLE SHOT TARGET RIFLE IN THE SWISS STYLE,
mid 19th century, with deeply crowned heavy octagonal barrel (re-browned), blade front-sight, graduated elevating rear-sight, the top flat of barrel silver inlaid with 'J G ZELLER TE ARNHEM', scroll engraved breech, lockplate engraved with a stag in woodland setting, further scrolls and makers details, dolphin head hammer engraved en-suite with the lock, ornately carved walnut half-stock with scroll engraved fancy side-plate, chequered panels with floral borders, scroll engraved top-tang with diopter sight, raised cheek-piece, l/h side of stock carved with a forest inhabited with a stag, 'swiss' style crescent heel plate, schnabel scroll engraved steel forend cap, sling swivels and original ram-rod (patinated throughout).
