A FRENCH 25-BORE SIDE-BY-SIDE DOUBLE-BARRELLED FLINTLOCK PISTOL SIGNED LAMBERT DIT BIRON,
late 18th century, with 4 3/8in twist-steel re-browned barrels with silver fore-sight (barrels possibly shortened), plain bordered locks with signature and roller frizzens (r/h cock old replacement, l/h cock repaired), walnut full-stock carved in relief behind the tang, silver-wire scroll inlays, long-tailed steel butt-cap and horn fore-end tip, bone tipped rammer.
