middle to late 19th century with 6 3/4in clip-point blade, thickened back edge chased with scrolls, chased silver mounts at forte, flattened 'v'-shaped hilt of marine ivory with horn spacers, chased silver-alloy tang, marine ivory pommel cap, together with its relief embossed silver scabbard terminating with a grotesque fish mask (blade with areas of corrosion, slight losses to hilt, scabbard lining missing)
