mid 19th century, with 9 1/2in downward curving blade (darkly patinated), relief embossed white metal flared pommel decorated with swirling clouds and silver wire-work, lightly gilded pommel-cap with filigree wire-work and small studs, set with a single clear stone (minor dents and losses) in its matching silver mounted wood scabbard with finely chiselled horn bulbous chape (damage to scabbard tip)
