dated 1862, with 38 3/4in sighted barrel, ladder rear-sight, the regulation lock with date, makers initials and a crown over the letters 'VR', walnut full-stock with chequered wrist and forend, brass furniture, and three steel barrel-bands, original steel ramrod, the whole remaining in fine condition throughout (lockplate discoloured).
