circa 1840, with re-browned 30in barrels, the rib signed 'WESTLEY RICHARDS, 170 NEW BOND ST. LONDON', platinum plugs, plain border-lined bar-action locks and hammers (re-coloured) with makers signature and floral screw-heads and surrounds, walnut figured half-stock with flattened point chequering to the wrist, white metal escutcheon behind top-tang, border-lined long-spurred heel-plate, scroll engraved trigger guard and strap, pineapple finial (in fine order throughout with old re-finish), TOGETHER WITH its original makers mahogany, green baize lined, compartmented case with makers label, two flasks (one later) and cap-tin, circular brass ring and escutcheon to lid with lifting semi circular handle, and brass corners.
