28in. replacement nitro chopperlump barrels, tubes engraved 'STEPHEN GRANT & SONS. 7. BURY STREET. ST. JAMES'S. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke, carved fluted fences, sidelever, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fine acanthus scroll engraving, retaining traces of colour-hardening, 15in. well-figured replacement stock (together with its original approx. 15in. stock including buttplate, slight crack at head), weight 6lb. 8oz., in its brass-cornered oak and leather case.
The makers have kindly confirmed that the gun was completed in 1943 with 29in. barrels for 'H.L. Graham'. It cost £170.
