circa 1850, the 7in flat, double edged blade swelling at the tip, narrow fuller at the forte (some staining and surface corrosion), engraved silver mounted darkwood grip of 'H' form (one lobe loose but contained), silver wire binding with contrasting sections to grip (lower section unwound), small tubular extension at pommel terminating with a blue stone TOGETHER WITH its original embossed leather sheath with silver sheet mounts, wire borders and silver suspension loop to reverse (three worm holes to leather portion, slight shrinkage)
