A VICTORIAN PATTERN 1831 BRITISH GENERAL OFFICERS SWORD
circa 1850, with etched 31 1/2in hatchet point blade signed 'HILL BROS, OLD BOND ST, LONDON' (worn), gilded double-langet cross-guard, 'mameluke' style hilt with ivory scales (one loss at sword knot hole, rivet heads missing) TOGETHER WITH its original brass scabbard (missing bands and rings, dented and worn)
