dated for November 1909, with 17in fullered blade, makers details and inspectors marks at forte, hilt with wooden scales (metal surfaces brushed bright with traces of pitting) TOGETHER WITH its original brown leather scabbard (one rivet missing from locket, iron parts with corrosion)
