28in. replacement nitro barrels (by Chaplins of Winchester in 1988), 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, carved fences, toplever and rib gold-inlaid '1', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, action and furniture profusely engraved with fine acanthus scrollwork, the underside with the EJC trade mark in a roundel, brushed finish overall, 15 1/4in. well-figured stock (chequering worn smooth) including 1 1/8in. rubber recoil pad, weight 6lb. 10oz.
