circa 1870, with re-browned 30in. barrels, the top rib signed 'CHARLES LANCASTER ? NEW BOND STREET LONDON' (feint), toplever opening with bar-action locks, border line and scroll engraving, chequered stock and forend (re-stocked), iron heel-plate engraved with the number '1' to the spur, silver oval escutcheon to underside of butt, trigger-guard engraved with pointers (worn), brushed bright and re-finished throughout
