A 40-BORE TURN-OVER BOXLOCK PERCUSSION POCKET PISTOL, serial no. 181
circa 1850, probably Belgian, with 3in slab-sided barrel cluster, one side fitted with rammer, central 'dolphin' hammered plain boxlock action, walnut chequered bag shaped grip with white-metal cap box inlayed into right hand side and silver oval to wrist, the whole being an old 'bone blue' re-finish
