A SCARCE APPROXIMATELY 6-BORE CONTINENTAL 'OVAL MOUTHED' FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUSS
circa 1770, with 26in sighted iron barrel flaring to 2in width at the muzzle and fixed tang, plain curved section 'banana' lock with french hammer (repaired), walnut 'handrail' full-stock, raised cheek piece (old crack through side nail and forward of lock) with molded iron furniture, fancy heel plate, and pistol-gripped tang to the trigger guard (discolouration and corrosion to iron parts)
